“Sardomare at MIA Market is like a full blown authentic Italian restaurant in MIA market food hall at the Miami Designe District. We met the owner and Chef Daniel Senis. Treated us like family. The other important part was the food. Everything is fresh and homemade from Sardinia. The bolognese, the salad and the antipasto were actually perfection. Coming back and encouraging home to open more places in South Florida”

The restaurant is just a stall in a food hall (MIA Market), so it's easy to roll up with a group of any size--even by yourself!--or try other things if someone in your group doesn't want to commit to sushi. It's true that some of the ambiance that come with a traditional, intimate sushi restaurant is lost. You come here for a no-frills, food-forward meal, not sushi Disneyland. If sushi Disneyland is what you're looking for, Miami has plenty of other outstanding options like Shingo and Hiyakawa.”

“I am always craving Chef Yasu's sushi, and admire his skills. As always, it was absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was unique in its taste, and each bite was something I didn't want to end. Do NOT sleep on this place. It's the best sushi you can find in Miami, and probably the best in the state. I'd highly recommend opting for the 10 piece omakase, and choosing a hand roll to indulge in additionally on the side. If you want some cocktails, wine, or beer to go with it then you can get them at the bar in the middle of the MIA Market food court. There are places that charge more for lesser quality and more mediocre flavors. You will not find any better place for sushi regarding price, quality, and taste.”

“Hands down the best quality sushi my boyfriend and I have had in Miami.... and maybe anywhere (we travel a lot) and we love trying all the best sushi spots! You can absolutely taste the difference. Try any of the so called "best" sushi places in Miami and then come here and you will immediately notice how the fish here just melts in your mouth. There is an obvious care put into sourcing this fish - it tastes so incredibly fresh. Just a heads up on the location: We were racing to get there before they closed and the security guards of the shopping center tried to tell us it was two streets the opposite way in a standalone building. Glad we didn't listen to them. This is inside a food hall on the second floor of the outdoor shopping mall. Come here and have the best sushi you will have in the U.S. without being overcharged all these silly prices the other sushi spots charge. Honestly, I know I shouldn't speak badly about the other sushi spots... but we spent an embarrassing amount of money on sushi the week BEFORE coming here for the first time. Never again. I could eat this sushi every day for the rest of my life - its that good. So incredibly fresh. If you've come this far: I also took my very talented chef friend (who has cooked for many celebrities) here.... he was VERY impressed and he doesn't impress easily when it comes to food. :) Can't say enough great things about the quality of fish here!”

Located inside Design District's, MIA Market, you wouldn't expect to find such high quality, perfectly curated sushi, nigiri and hand roll menu but there it is -- a spot every sushi lover should try. Run by former chef of the den at Azabu, the michelin rated chef Yasu Tanaka knows how to create beautiful creations of hand rolls, nigiri samplers and maki rolls you didn't know your taste buds needed. Recently, I indulged in the tuna sampler which consisted of 3 tuna makis, 2 fatty tuna nigiris that were torched, 2 less fatty ones and 2 even less fatty... wow, wow, wow, I was speechless. I really hope everyone gets a chance to try this spot out because you certainly will not regret it.”

“Highly recommend Jaffa Restaurant!! We visited the Atlantic Village in Hallandale within 2-weeks of opening this new location. Five+ stars for cleanliness, ambiance, décor and service!! They also have the ideal menu; offering both unique/fusion dishes and authentic Middle Eastern favorites. Due to the size of our party, we decided to go mezze/tapas/family-style and ordered lots of different menu items. I can honestly say that everyone was impressed at how authentic and delicious everything was. Being that my hubby is Middle Eastern, I can vouch for it's authenticity. As for me, I will be returning very soon and ordering the Turmeric Cauliflower with Zaatar Tahini all to myself!”

“I'm originally from Israel , living in the states for a while now, finally found a place by a great spice chef, getting the flavors and taste of home cooking, from cauliflower to hummus, tehini, amba and many things i miss, i'm not religious but the meat is "kosher glat" as far as i saw on the menu. we enjoyed ourselves very much. and the dessert was just amazing. more then anything we expected. as i said, in the food market full of many types of options, that is a hidden pearl a must visit.”

Kibbeh was crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned and soft on the inside. It is a little pricy at 20 something dollars for the entree, but to be expected in design district and was enough food to share for 2 people.”
