★Yelp“Only ordered one dish but it was one of the best spaghetti alle vongolle we have tried. This variation has botarga. Will definitely come back.”

GGoogle“Come for the sushi, stay for the Alex Proba sculptures. I had the omakase lunch and it was better than meals I’ve had in Japan. Really fast service and exceptional quality.”

GGoogle“Fire. Omakase and service was great. Would go again. Nice little hidden spot in the back left hand corner of the food hall. Had a casual group of 8 people and everyone loved it.”

★Yelp“My first experience with Chef Yasu was at Azabu on Miami Beach. Now he’s brought the experience to MIA Market with his family owned stand. I love it. I would have had more pictures but I demolished everything. 😂 HIGHLY RECOMMEND OMAKASE!”

GGoogle“We just stopped in for a quick lunch. They have a nice menu with a lot of options mostly of things I really like! We had the Salmon Special and the edamame. Both were very good. The salmon was very fresh. The service was excellent and we got our food quick even though it was a busy day.”

★Yelp“$3 Tacos on Tuesday! Beautiful presentation and quick to serve. I tried the Vegan (mushroom), chipotle chicken and shrimp. My only complaint would be that the vegan mushroom filling needed a touch of salt. Nothing that would deter me from ordering again as it is a quick fix. Ingredients are extremely fresh. Lovely customer service as well.”

GGoogle“Delicious Mediterranean food inside of MIA market food hall. The ambiance is chic, service was quick, food was fresh and tasty. Loved the presentation of the kibbeh platter! Kibbeh was crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned and soft on the inside. It is a little pricy at 20 something dollars for the entree, but to be expected in design district and was enough food to share for 2 people.”

★Yelp“THE sushi spot in the Design District. Sushi Yasu Tanaka is located within the MIA Market, tucked away in the corner but is such a gem. When you enter the MIA Market, there are so many things to choose from but, if you're a sushi fanatic, definitely plan to grab a bite here! They offer platters, specials, and even omakase. I love the omakase because it's such a different format from normal omakase. It's more of a causal experience but still so special. The fish tastes so fresh and of high quality, you'll question if you're even in a food hall concept but I would expect nothing less from the Design District. I've done both the omakase and the salmon special and both are so great. Definitely recommend this spot!”

★Yelp“My wife and I went to lunch at Jaffa cafe inside the food court off 39th street in the Miami Design district. It was a cute cafe and we were greeted with smiles as we sat at the counter. We ordered the turmeric roasted Head of Cauliflower and Roasted Brussels sprouts for an appetizer. The cauliflower came dripping with tahini sauce and cilantro. The chef served up a side of a middle eastern hot sauce and it all tasted pretty darn incredible. Lunch was then served. Not your typical plate of chicken shawarma but a triple tiered presentation with all the typical fixings. My wife had the brisket bowl and we both enjoyed the perfectly matched flavors. Which, because of the portion sized we had a second chance to enjoy for dinner as well. We finished the meal with some mint tea with date honey. If you're even in the design district and looking for a break from the sun, check out the food court at 140 NE 39th Street. Walk between the buildings, turn left, up the escalator and walk straight back. Jaffa is the first cafe' on the right as you enter the food court space. Now, this isn't your typical "mall" food court, this is high end and well deserving business attire and not shorts and flip flops. But hey, it's Miami, that goes too. Great food pouring over with flavors and a very nice atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back to this place for seconds!!! Oh, an I ordered Chef Yaniv Cohen's cook book too! Yeah, I'm hooked. ★Yelp“Hands down the best quality sushi my boyfriend and I have had in Miami.... and maybe anywhere (we travel a lot) and we love trying all the best sushi spots! You can absolutely taste the difference. Try any of the so called "best" sushi places in Miami and then come here and you will immediately notice how the fish here just melts in your mouth. There is an obvious care put into sourcing this fish - it tastes so incredibly fresh. Just a heads up on the location: We were racing to get there before they closed and the security guards of the shopping center tried to tell us it was two streets the opposite way in a standalone building. Glad we didn't listen to them. This is inside a food hall on the second floor of the outdoor shopping mall. Come here and have the best sushi you will have in the U.S. without being overcharged all these silly prices the other sushi spots charge. Honestly, I know I shouldn't speak badly about the other sushi spots... but we spent an embarrassing amount of money on sushi the week BEFORE coming here for the first time. Never again. I could eat this sushi every day for the rest of my life - its that good. So incredibly fresh. If you've come this far: I also took my very talented chef friend (who has cooked for many celebrities) here.... he was VERY impressed and he doesn't impress easily when it comes to food. :) Can't say enough great things about the quality of fish here!”

GGoogle“I have found my new home for tacos. I have tried a lot of tacos in Miami and they always fall short. That is certainly not the case with HotLime. I was blown away by how good the tacos are. I tried the beef and pork tacos and both were delicious. I usually end up drowning tacos in hot sauce but I didn't want to change the flavor in these amazing taco specimens. The guacamole is fresh and well balanced in flavor. I enjoyed my meal with some ceviche which also exceeded expectations.”

GGoogle“I came here with my fiancé (a self-proclaimed undercover sushi critic). He said this is the best nigiri in the state of Florida, arguably in the entire country, possibly even North America. The quality of fish and rice (a critical yet under appreciated part of nigiri) was superb. If giving six stars was possible, Sushi Yasu Tanaka would deserve it.”

★Yelp“Love this beautiful food hall. This ceviche place is pretty good. I ordered a classic ceviche, which I'm very happy about. The fish is very fresh and the taste is citrusy and light. The chips & salsa is just fine, maybe because I come from San Diego, so probably I have a high standard for that.”

★Yelp“This quality of this sushi is amazing. You don't know what to expect in a setting like this but it's off the charts good. On top of it the guys behind the counter and the people who run the food are very friendly and informative. I love stopping here.”

★Yelp“My husband and I have dined here more times than I care to admit, and it’s consistently exceptional every single time. If you’re in the Design District and craving impeccable sushi, this place is an absolute must.”

GGoogle“Chicken tacos were okay but the beef short rib tacos were delicious! Highly recommend the short rib with some spicy sauce on top. Yum! Located in the food court with the rest of the restaurants and bar.”

GGoogle“Unassuming restaurant serving delicious fresh sushi in a food court. Pricey, and the atmosphere is not ideal, as it is a food court, but quality matches. I'd go again and again.”
